Nestled in the breathtaking South Tyrolean landscape, our stay at Ansitz Fonteklaus was truly enchanting. As an art historian who appreciates the finer things in life, this family-run hotel resonated with my soul. The majestic view of Eisacktal and the surrounding mountains captivated our family from the moment we arrived. From the charming historic manor to the meticulously detailed garden terraces, every corner exuded a sense of tranquility and warmth.Our days were filled with delightful activities for all ages, from baking bread and pizza with the little ones to exploring the nearby Dolomites. The extensive program for youngsters kept them entertained and engaged, while the horse riding lessons added a touch of adventure to our family vacation. Evenings were spent savoring local delicacies and enjoying the warm hospitality of the staff.A highlight for us was the visit to the Monastery of Sabiona, a cultural excursion that added depth to our holiday experience. The Alpe di Villandro offered spectacular mountain trails, perfect for leisurely walks or more challenging hikes. The nearby town of Bressanone charmed us with its historic cathedral and lively ambiance. The hotel's proximity to nature and the various outdoor activities made it an ideal destination for families seeking adventure and relaxation. As we bid farewell, we knew that this place would remain in our hearts, beckoning us to return for more unforgettable moments in the embrace of the South Tyrolean mountains.
